The Turned Leg Booth 134Can’t wait for another annual barn sale from The Turned Leg? Need your fix for repurposed and upcycled items? I am pleased to announce that the wait is over. You can now shop The Turned Leg six days a week from my new booth at Plaza Antiques & Collectible Mall in Lincoln Park. The mall is located on 26221 Dix Highway and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am–6 pm and Sunday from 12 pm-5 pm. Plaza Antique Mall is one of downriver’s largest antique malls and houses over seventy dealers under one roof. The mall has a great variety and offers antiques, collectibles, painted furniture, and much more. I am located in the far right corner of the store in booth 134. All summer I have been working hard to build up my inventory and have plenty of wonderful items to share.  Here are a few of the items that you will find.

The Turned Leg Booth 134Repurposed dresser gets a new life as wine rack ($130). When I found this beautiful dresser it did not have any drawers but it had great legs and detail. I had to find a way to repurpose it. I added a wine rack on the two lower drawers and added to baskets on the top to hold cork screws and napkins.

Next I painted everything with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Graphite and added a dark wax to bring out the color and protect it.

I also have a cute end table that I painted with Annie Sloan Chalk paint in French Linen with vintage hardware ($40).  On top of it sits a magazine holder painted in Florence Annie Sloan Chalk Paint ($30).Salvage Turned Legs for Sale

Of course I also have some salvaged turned legs and other table legs for sale in the booth.  Prices start at $5 per leg.  If you are looking for the perfect set of legs for your own project come check out what I have in my booth.
