I am done with winter. I am ready to be working on furniture outside in the sunshine. So I have decided to decorate for spring a little early this year to encourage Mother Nature. Besides the cute spring green suitcase repurposed into a chalkboard above ($28) I have many other items at Plaza Antiques & Collectibles Mall, booth #134 that will help you get into the mood for spring.
One of the early signs of spring are birds. Lots of bird themed goodies in my booth like this robin’s nest print ($38), hand-made “Nest” sign ($28) and the repurposed old spring holding a nest ($15). I also have a beautiful collection of tropical bird art. Each picture has a bird or tropical plant painted onto fabric. I have four pictures at $18 each. If you prefer some fuzzier signs of spring I have bunch of cute bunnies also through out my booth. Like this little guy below ($11). I have used a vintage aquarium ($40) and turned it into a mini-vignette. Below is a cute vintage turned-leg table painted with Annie Sloan Versailles chalk paint and covered with a dark wax. ($65). Really the perfect anywhere table.Want to just skip right ahead to summer? Beach, sand and sun… I have created a beach inspired chair. ($48) The chair was hand-painted using Annie Sloan Florence chalk paint and a dark wax creating a rich teal color. I reupholstered the seat with a shell fabric with coral and teal. Perfect for a cottage, porch or just to help add a seaside feel to your home.
I hope that you can stop by Plaza Antiques Mall & Collectibles soon. Besides all the new items in my booth there are many new dealers to the mall. If you have not been there in a while it is like shopping a whole new antique mall.
